01 Mario World
Exploring a three-dimensional interpretation of the Mario World, transcending its iconic two-dimensional graphics.
Drawing inspiration from Interstellar’s tesseract scene, the project seeks to depict a Mario world deconstructed within a multi-dimensional space. Prominent elements such as the ground, clouds, and blocks are divided and expanded throughout the provided cubic space.
Due to the inherent characteristics of the intersecting elevations, the massing is seamlessly integrated with a weaving design language. This integration plays with the intersections of elements, the varying spacing between items, and their various thickness.
To distinguish each slice of the six elements, a multitude of colors have been assigned to the massing to achieve a similar effect as the tesseract scene in Interstellar.
